Our brightest minds are working on exiting Earth to either Mars or the Metaverse. Humanity was born on this planet and we are shamefully letting it decay. We can try to escape inward, we can try to escape outward. Or, we can oblige our duty to build a beautiful future on Earth.

Praxis was born as a vision for this future. Today, new technology is giving us the opportunity to build better cities founded on shared values and community. In the 20th Century, cities were organized around labor markets. Now, we can work from our computers anywhere we’d like. With this new freedom, we can leave work-centric cities and live with people who share our values. Praxis is leading this movement by building a new city organized around the value of vitality, a principle that unifies across culture, time, and space, to enable people to live healthier, more purposeful lives.
In pursuit of our community’s new home, we are actively engaging with landowners and governments, designing economic and political systems, architecting buildings and infrastructure, and bringing together the people who will inhabit them. We are early in the project’s lifecycle, but are excited about the momentum we are building.
To further this momentum, we are pleased to announce our capital raise led by Paradigm, with Apollo Projects, Robot Ventures, and continued participation from existing investors.
Our team includes founders of publicly traded companies, Y Combinator execs, as well as veterans from governments and city development projects. We have begun expanding our Real Estate, Governance, and Engineering teams, along with an internal city research and design studio (the World Building Studio).
